Suggested Route (Via Parndana)
Travel west along the PLAYFORD HIGHWAY, by-pass the township of PARNDANA and continue approximately 4kms. Turn right onto STOKES BAY ROAD (a dirt road) continue travelling north. Approximately 100 metres past AMEN CORNER you turn left down PRATTS ROAD (this may not be signposted), continue until you come to a T junction, NORTH COAST ROAD, turn left and continue travelling west. "MIDDLE RIVER HOMESTEAD AND COTTAGES" are located on this road - there is a signpost on the lefthand side of the road and the entrance in on the righthand side - just metres before a bridge which crosses the MIDDLE RIVER.
Alternate Route (Via Bark Hut Road)
BARK HUTT ROAD, (a dirt road) is a right hand turn off of the PLAYFORD HIGHWAY (at the foot of a steep hill names "Kohinoor Hill"). Travel along Bark Hut Road untill you reach AMEN CORNER, turn right, and approximately 100 metres down this road is PRATTS ROAD (this may not be signposted), turn left down Pratt's Road and continue until you come to a T junction, NORTH COAST ROAD, turn left and continue travelling west. "MIDDLE RIVER HOMESTEAD AND COTTAGES" are located on this road - there is a signpost on the lefthand side of the road end the entrance is on the righthand side - just metres before a bridge which crosses the MIDDLE RIVER.
